2026-End-Of-Year-Campaign

Help bring more of eastern North Carolina’s natural history out of storage and into view.

The Aurora Fossil Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has a large inventory of fossil specimens in storage, waiting to be used. Your support for our Fossil Hall Campaign could help expand and update our exhibit space, making room for more museum-quality exhibits that educate about eastern North Carolina’s natural history.

We launched this campaign because children in many rural households across eastern North Carolina have fewer opportunities than their peers to explore their curiosity and learn. An updated Fossil Hall would allow us to expand our educational programs and resources to better serve our patrons, educators, and youth.

Your donation can help us work toward our $30,000 fundraising goal. Gifts could help cover costs such as exhibit-space improvements, display cases, and educational exhibit materials, helping us put more of our stored fossil collection to use.

Please consider donating to our Fossil Hall Campaign. A gift of any size is greatly appreciated and can help create more opportunities to discover and learn about the natural history of eastern North Carolina.
